A giant round of applause for all of the EAS volunteers who helped make this year’s IU Science Fest a huge success! Against all odds, we mounted a fully online event bringing science from all of IU’s science departments to hundreds (thousands?) of interested Hoosiers and future scientists. Special thanks to our EAS heroes Elizabeth Sherrill, Clarke DeLisle, and Cody Kirkpatrick, who did all of the hard work organizing the activities, collaborating with the College science outreach staff, herding the EAS cats, preparing the videos, and leading live events all day Saturday.
Fortunately, for those of you who missed Saturday’s grand opening, the Science Fest activities (other than Saturday’s live events) will remain posted at the Science Fest webisite through the end of the semester.
If nothing else, be sure to check out the video version of our annual hit event, the Trash Can Volcano eruption, now turned into a beautiful video version—thanks to Clarke, Danielle, Elizabeth, and the silky narrative voice of Bryan Roberts!
