Harrison Martin has received a two-year graduate fellowship from the Future Investigators in NASA Earth and Space Science and Technology (FINESST) Program. The fellowship will support his stipend, tuition fees, travel, and publication fees for his project "Testing the Hypothesis that River Discharge Variability Controls Megafan Formation in Foreland Basins.” The program is very competitive at a national level, usually with several hundred proposals submitted in the Earth Sciences category alone with only 50 to 60 awarded.
Harrison's advisor is Doug Edmonds.
